Odroerir - Götterlieder II CD

Odroerir - Götterlieder II CD (Einheit Produktionen) Epic Pagan Folk Metal from Germany. This album is quite a solid one to be a sideproject. The music is mostly melancholic folk, where metal guitars find a quite beautiful place. Acoustic guitars present everywhere, drawing quiet melodies, and the vocals are just amazing, mixing male and female clean vocals with choirs and vocal leads. Vocals in german, and it adds a lot of flavour to the music. Sometimes electric guitars take a more main role. They sound somewhat dirty and raw, which gives a contrast with the acoustics and especially with the violins, when they sound at the same time. Beautiful solos on the album as well.
