Strong attention to detail and quality song-writing here and definitely more dynamic than the aformentioned acts. Grimbane balances slaying with pure speed and intensity with slower and more melodic dark works. They really let the songs drive the spike into the flesh. This album is vicious and sinister in a way that few bands achieve these days.
