Nezhegol - Istoki CD

Nezhegol - Istoki CD (Valgriind) Excellent and unique blend of Russian heathen metal with synths and atmospheric soundscapes. Vocals alternate between agonized shouts and beautiful chanting. Lots of clean instrumentation, heavy on the synthesizer using mainly very dark and eerie melodies to conjure a modern heathen metal sound. Project's name refers to river Nezhegol' that flows near Shebekino. A very diverse listen, each track having something strange and new to offer.
