Grimorivm - In Memory Of The Forgotten Ones / Pactum CD (Sun Empire Prod.) Beautiful and emotional Doom metal with a wicked underground atmosphere and sound. At times, Grimorivm borders on black metal, but then always returns to their warm and melodic sorrowful moods. Do not confuse this with suicidal black metal, because it is nothing of the sort. There are some early My Dying Bride influences here and possibly early Primoridal and Rotting Christ. The tracks are very well-composed, eerie, and sometimes very haunting with their use of gloomy keyboards and utterly throat-scarring low-pitched growls. A very good album and a perfect addition to the Pagan Flames dungeon!
